GENERAL ASSEMBLY NYC: User Experience Bootcamp
OBJECTIVE: Explore the fundamentals of UX design through creating a user friendly taco delivery app.
CASE STUDY:
Rebel Taco, a popular Mexican restaurant in the Lower East Side, is looking to expand their business through a delivery application. Despite their 24/7 hours, to accommodate late night bar goers, the small space they have on Orchard St. deters some prospective customers.
PERSONAS: 20-30 something NYC young professional. On the move. Late night partier. Instant gratification.
ISSUES:
"I'll probably be drunk so I need it to be really easy to use. Big buttons, one liners." - F/22
"I rarely carry cash on me. I hate when I have to constantly log in my credit card info over and over again!" - M/28
"I want to see what the food looks like! I don't want to have to go on Yelp, look up the restaurant, then try and find a picture of what I think I want. Takes too long." - M/22
USER SCENARIO:
Late into the night, just leaving the bars, craving tacos, and on the brink of hangry. Need a no frills straight to the point taco delivery app that will deliver to wherever he/she is - whether the front of the bar, on the street, or just arriving home.
USER FLOW:
